What I am isn't something that's easily definable. I suppose on one hand I am worlds apart from the average person, but on the other I'm much the same in that I'm just searching for some peace, happiness and understanding. I'm fueled by an everlasting quest for knowledge and to know the real truth about life and the universe around us. I challenge that which is fact, I challenge reality and I attempt to expand my mind, alter my perspective and gain new insight on anything and everything. I do this through a variety of methods, from simply reading literature to using substances that alter the very fabric of the world around us. Reality is subjective, there is so much more to be learnt in this world if one takes the time to think outside the parametres we're told to think in.
I have learned not to think little of any one's belief, no matter how strange it may be. I have tried to keep an open mind, and it is not the ordinary things of life that could close it, but the strange things, the extraordinary things, the things that make one doubt if they be mad or sane. - From Bram Stoker's Dracula
Don't expect this to be your normal journal. This isn't some web log where I ramble on about the boring day to day events that occur in my life. I am reserving this for the highest order of thoughts that cross my mind; from mind shattering revelations to Acid musings; from political commentaries to social analysations. In the search for truth and a higher understanding of the world that we live in I am attempting to correlate my thoughts into one area, and to share it with others. As I have already mentioned, gaining new perspectives are vital to the process of learning; and perhaps I can impart some wisdom as I go along.
I don't take drugs as an escape trick, like some cheap magician on a cruise ship. I take drugs to find gold, like a greedy prospector in the backcountry. There are those who take drugs to be cool and those who take drugs to expand. I am not James Dean. I'm a balloon. And god has a mouth on my hole. And is blowing. And filling me up. And filling me up. I take drugs, they are a part of my life. If you have a problem with this I suggest you turn tail and not look back, because I honestly don't give a fuck what negative things you have to say about them. My life does have MUCH more to do with it than drugs, but the daily humdrum of my life is meaningless in my search for answers. This is a psychonautical journal and much of it is inspired by or reached through the use of drugs. With that said...With that said, welcome to my journal of philosophy, truth seeking and musing.
